Appearance: Leona is a toned and noticeably tall, light bronze complexioned woman with long pine green hair an accident after a dye mishap for a fantasy convention. While not needing them for much but small text, she occasionally wears small, wire frame glasses when studying.

Her standard attire consists of shorts and matching tops. She abhors most shoes, save for sandals. A quirk being carrying a pair with her to change into during indoor activities during the winter.

While having an imposing stature, she's very much a gentle, maybe a little bookish soul.

Personality: Leona's soft spoken despite her size, she's also not one to throw it around without proper justification. Despite her imposing height, she's very warm to most people, especially if they happen to be animal lovers.


given her upbringing, and a rather big obsession with mythology and fantasy novels. She tends to seem a bit naive and aloof to the world around her, but in truth really is paying attention and very observant of things around her, she just tends to forget to comment or react to certain things. While she has a love of fantasy and mythology and even acknowledged the goings on of Angel Falls, she tends to act as if it could never happen to her. So becoming a heroine has sort of put her in a confused tizzy of uncertainty and shaky adaptation. An uncertain hero who needs guidance.

Skills: Leona has started her first year at Angel Falls University, majoring in Anthropology with a Minor in Archeology. So she's somewhat knowledgeable in regards to some ancient societies, mostly due to her Grandmother and Father.

First Aid: While no Doctor House MD, she knows her way around most minor, First Aid kit/CPR class fixable injuries.

Animal Husbandry: She knows how to handle most domesticated animals, to a degree. As well as treating minor injuries.

Powers:



Growth: Leona has been blessed with the ability to increase her size and mass from her "meager" 6ft and some change, up to 100ft in height, her strength and durability increase to match this height.

Speed/Strength/Durability: Ianis's strength since gaining the bracelet has also increased, while not a walking powerhouse like many others, she can lift a respectable 1000lb with no issue. She's also a lot tougher, able to shrug off small arms, mainly 9mm with minor welting. Finally she's able to run at a top speed of 70mph for brief periods before becoming winded.

Armor of Ianis: Ianis has blessed Leona with a resilient, yet....ahem revealing armor, more like a crystalline bikini with matching bracers and leg guards, this offers her resilience against the elements(extreme cold/warmth/weather) of natural origin despite well-being embarrassing. Not much she can do about it however. She has other abilities, but at this they've yet to reveal themselves. (mostly geokinesis/lumiokinesis)

Weaknesses: Leona has zero combat experience starting out. So anyone with more skill than her can easily best her. Extreme Sonic attacks can also cause her distress due to the seeming crystalline nature of her "armor". She also lacks experience with her new height, so is horribly cautious, something someone can take advantage of.

Background: Leona she grew up with a fairly is somewhat sheltered life, having a loving if somewhat driven archeologist father and a mother with a Veternarian degree who doted on her more than she probably should. While a lovely young woman, Leona doesn't stand out too much aside from her oddly colored hair, and well her rather unusual height.

It is because of this rather imposing stature that she went through life mostly un-bullied or teased. It did make for a somewhat lonely lifestyle despite the usual antics that occur in Angel Falls.

The only enjoyment she found was spending time with her somewhat eccentric grandmother, a curator at a small Pacific Cultures Center along the city's coast. She'd spend days after school helping her elderly grandmother as well as listening to her tales of the continent of Mu, which to her was just fantasy and whimsy but seemed to be something rooted in reality to her grandmother. The tales she'd tell and the theatrics she'd put on regarding the "culture" of the people of said continent kept her enthralled. Everyday she'd be regaled with tales of heroes, of cultures, music and it mad e her days more wonderful, more enriched even if it was fantasy to her.

On her 18th Birthday, her grandmother gifted her with a small, intricately carved Opal and crystal choker, while it was a lovely piece of jewelry, the story with it made it all the more interesting.

Her grandmother stated it was a relic of Mu, passed down from her grandmother when she was Leona's age. It was supposedly a token a symbol from the Mu goddess of Protection and Battle and Heroines, Ianis. The two spent the evening, the elder woman sharing more of her campfire worthy tales with her young grand-daughter.

All the while Leona totally oblivious to the responsibility and power she'd unwittingly been given. The walk home was quiet for her, however a group of would be muggers changed that.

The tall woman not versed in any form of combat doesn't remember what happened, all she remembers is the Angel Falls PD gently shaking her awake and the sight of a partially crushed Honda civic resting in a foot print shaped crater. After her own statement and a check to make sure she was unharmed she was allowed to go on her way, unaware that Ianis's power had begun to take hold.
